In spite of its slightly non-descript exterior, the Apex European Hotel manages to combine modern design with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The 67 en suite guestrooms are decorated in an understated contemporary style, with crisp linens and maroon comforters on the beds complemented by light wood furnishings and a good range of amenities. They are also well insulated against traffic noise. Eating in Metro West End Brasserie and Café Bar is an experience in its own right, not merely a convenience. There's a welcome emphasis on fresh ingredients – sourced and prepared with care and served in a relaxed yet stylish environment.
