Our Review
Unlike most budget hotels, the Grassmarket has the distinction of being housed in a listed building. A friendly property with a good reputation, it’s situated in the area of the same name: just off the Royal Mile, in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. This means that it’s very central, but the surrounding area can be a little noisy at night.

Receptionists quite helpful... Staff had no knowledge on unloading facilities outside hotel.... The staff are excellent and very helpful.... Helpfull staff.... Excellent location and service by the staff, they were only too happy to help.... friendly and helpful staff,... staff were all very pleasant,... staff very responsive...
