excellent hotel that is quite central,10 mins walk to princes street.breakfast is good.indoor pool,sauna and steam room is an added bonus.could not fault this hotel and was very reasonably priced when booking through this website rather than the official novotel one!

booked room for 3 when arrived at hotel they said only 1 bed...managed to get it sorted but our booking form from you did say double + 1 single bed!!!!!! Some confusion with this..

hotel was very clean & staff polite. room was good size and use of sauna,steam room & small swimming pool all included in the price. we were all impressed by the hotel. Walking distance to grassmarket.

We had a really good weekend staying here the only thing we had a problem with was when we had diner the dinning room was very cold. We ate in the hotel the food was good.We got a taxi to and from the hotel to the shops it was a good walk maybe not a bad walk in the summer.

Bed extremely uncomfortable. Didn't feel that the bedding was as fresh as it should be. Staff didn't let me know at booking in time that I should fill out H&S form and get security code for pool entry.

Staff not friendly. Rooms are extremely basic.
Bathroom sink was blocked although complained no one bothered to attend to it. Ended up using the bath tub to wash face and brush our teeth... Not enough towels in the Spa Area
