The Point Hotel has been voted one of the most stylish properties in the centre of Edinburgh. It is housed in a large 5-storey building, decorated throughout in a minimalist, contemporary style, enhanced by an excellent use of lighting. The lobby is bright and medium sized. On the ground floor, the Cosmopolitan Restaurant serves French and Scottish cuisine. Clients can also enjoy a drink or cocktails at the Monboddo Bar.
The guestrooms are nicely appointed in the same minimalist, contemporary style as the rest of the property, with a good range of facilities including flat screen televisions, WIFI access and little decorative touches reminding you that you’re in Scotland’s capital. All rooms are non smoking.
This hotel has a policy of not accepting single sex groups and doesn't have triple rooms.
The hotel has access to secure garage parking for a charge of £20 per night (correct at May 2008.) It also has an arrangement with the local NCP car park which entitles guests to 20% discount.
