The lobby is appointed in a classical style, the doorman and concierge ensuring a warm welcome. Throughout the building you will find over 860 pieces of original art ranging from old oil paintings to modern works. The hotel is non smoking throughout.
The hotel’s North Bridge Brasserie & Bar occupies The Scotsman newspaper’s former marble reception hall and access to it is through the building’s original main door. The hotel also boasts excellent leisure facilities (The Cow Shed) in the form of a 16 metre stainless steel swimming pool and a huge air-conditioned gym, as well as sauna and steam rooms, relaxation area, spa treatment rooms, an aerobic studio and a small bar.
