Excellent hotel, loved the facilities. Staff very friendly & helpful. Only slight problem was that getting into 1 of our 3 rooms was delayed 2 hours as previous occupant had "done something on carpet" and the hotel were cleaning it. Carpet was still wet once we got in. Otherwise very clean, had everything we needed (towels, hairdryers, iron's, fridge, safe). However, we loved everything about this hotel and are planning to book again at same time next year. Suitable for all visitors (not too many hen/stag nights) so very relaxing even though very busy. Right round corner from Grassmarket - staggering distance. Gym & pool are relatively small but more than adequate with jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms (open 6am-10pm). Hotel bar open very, very late, but you'll need a Visa card to buy food & drinks after 1.00am as they couldn't take cash.

Top Tip:
Definitely recommend Vittorias Italian restuarant on King George IV bridge - excellent meal but also great value. Recommend you book in advance, we were very lucky to get table for 6 on a busy Saturday night. Would definitely go back as service was also excellent.
